The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the shelving system features durable, adaptable construction with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The laminate decking measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging, featuring a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface in a white/laminated finish and a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish on the framing. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility and easy expansion with more stability and less construction compared to bolting two starter units together.
