The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The unit features open shelves adjustable at 1" increments and an open design providing four side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelves are supported by sturdy roll-formed 14 gauge steel framing and T posts punched on 1" centers, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The decking consists of a 1/2" thick stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and pre-cut square edging. The particle board ships in two pieces. This add-on unit facilitates expansion and provides greater stability with less construction effort compared to bolting starter units together.
