The SC Preferred 3 Shelf commercial duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, industrial, and commercial facilities, featuring adjustable open shelves at 1" increments and easy assembly without bolts, nuts, or clips. The unit accommodates various heights, widths, and depths with an open design that allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility. It is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing, with top and bottom shelves utilizing double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams, and single rivet horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. It features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration as well as sprinkler water to pass throughout racks easily, improving fire safety and lowering insurance premiums.
