The SC Preferred 4 Shelf commercial duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, industrial, and commercial settings, offering various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any facility area. The open design provides four-sided access and adjustable open shelves at 1" increments for maximum flexibility. Assembly is simple with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The unit features sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, with top and bottom shelves utilizing double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. Each starter includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and a combination of double riveted and single riveted horizontal beams adjustable in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the unit, and the wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while enabling sprinkler water to pass easily, enhancing fire safety.
