The SC Preferred® 3 shelf boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize your storage area in retail, commercial, and industrial applications. It features durable and adaptable storage with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for flexible configuration. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams for the top and bottom shelves, and single rivet horizontal beams for the center shelf, all of which adjust vertically at 1" increments. The shelving uses roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, with top and bottom shelves employing double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. The wire decking enhances ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass through easily, improving fire safety and lowering insurance premiums. The unit features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and offers easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. This boltless design facilitates expansion by joining units with greater stability and less construction effort than bolting two starter units together.
