The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage space in retail, commercial, and industrial settings, featuring durable roll-formed steel framing for maximum support. The open shelves are adjustable vertically at 1" increments using rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams on the top and bottom shelves, and single rivet beams on the center shelf. The top and bottom shelves utilize double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The wire decking enhances ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, while allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily, improving fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability. The unit features an open design with four-side access for maximum flexibility, and a snap-in assembly requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, making expansions easy, stable, and less labor-intensive compared to bolting two starter units together.
