The SC Preferred™ 3 Shelf Boltless Shelving Add On with wire shelving is designed for durable and adaptable storage in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, maximizing storage area with various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any facility. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the unit features an open design allowing four-sided access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components—no bolts, nuts, or clips are required. Expansion is simplified by joining units more securely and with less construction than bolting two starter units together. The shelving is constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing with top and bottom shelves using double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double-riveted horizontal beams, and single-rivet horizontal beams adjustable vertically on 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish provides durability, and the wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, facilitating sprinkler water to pass throughout racks easily, enhancing fire safety and reducing insurance premiums.
