The SC Preferred™ 4 Shelf Boltless Shelving Add On with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage space in retail, commercial, and industrial environments, featuring various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every facility area. The open design provides four side access for maximum flexibility, and the unit offers easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Expansion is simplified by joining units with greater stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing ensures maximum support, with top and bottom shelves employing double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, creating structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The center shelf uses single rivet beams, and each add on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams, and single rivet horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The shelves feature a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the wire decking allows for ventilation, visibility, and light penetration. Water from sprinklers easily passes through the racks, improving fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums.
