The SC Preferred 4 Shelf commercial duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, offering various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any facility layout. It features durable, open shelves that are adjustable at 1-inch increments, providing four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1-inch centers, double riveted horizontal beams for the top and bottom shelves, and single rivet horizontal beams for the center shelf, all adjustable vertically in 1-inch increments. The shelves utilize double rivet button stud construction in the top and bottom shelves to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The shelving unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and includes wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water flow, enhancing fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums.
