The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf commercial duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed for durable and adaptable storage in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility area. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams for top and bottom shelves, and single rivet horizontal beams for the center shelf, with top and bottom shelves using double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The easy, boltless assembly requires no nuts, bolts, or clips, with snap-in components enabling simple setup and expansion by joining units more stably than bolting two starter units together. The lamination consists of a 1/2" thick stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface with pre-cut square edging and a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish on the steel framing.
