The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf commercial duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, industrial, and commercial settings, featuring various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any area. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, with easy assembly that requires no bolts, nuts, or clips due to snap-in components. Expansion is simplified by joining units with greater stability and less construction compared to bolting two starter units together. The shelving is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing, providing maximum support, with top and bottom shelves secured by double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, creating structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams, and single rivet horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel with a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface on the decking, which measures 1/2" thick and features pre-cut square edging.
