The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf commercial duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed for durable and adaptable storage in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. It features open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments and easy assembly without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving unit offers various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility area, with an open design allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with top and bottom shelves utilizing double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams, and single rivet horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish complements the stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking, which measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging.
