The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf commercial duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, commercial, and industrial environments. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams for the top and bottom shelves, and single rivet horizontal beams for the center shelf, all adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The open design allows four-side access, providing maximum flexibility, and the shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support. The top and bottom shelves use double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. The laminate decking measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging, offering a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and require no bolts, nuts, or clips for assembly, enabling quick and easy expansion with less construction than bolting two starter units together.
