The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Commercial Duty Boltless Shelving Add On with laminate decking is designed for durable and adaptable storage in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. It features open shelves adjustable at 1" increments, offering maximum flexibility with four side access. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides strong support, with top and bottom shelves secured by double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams, and single rivet horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the steel, and the stain resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. Assembly is straightforward with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and units can be easily expanded and joined with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
