The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf commercial duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications with various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility space. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no nuts, bolts, or clips. Expansion is simplified by joining units with greater stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, with top and bottom shelves using double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway; the center shelf uses single rivet beams. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched at 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams, and single rivet horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the steel, while the stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking measures 1/2" thick and has pre-cut square edging.
