The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf commercial duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. It features durable, roll-formed steel framing with rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams, along with single rivet horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, and the open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The add-on includes sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Top and bottom shelves utilize double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway, while the center shelf employs single rivet beams. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Various heights, widths, and depths accommodate nearly every facility area, and units can be joined for expansion with increased stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
