The SC Preferred™ 3 Shelf commercial duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, featuring various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every facility space. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, with shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes sturdy 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams on the top and bottom shelves, single rivet horizontal beams on the center shelf, and precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with top and bottom shelves using double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. This unit requires easy assembly without bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components to facilitate quick setup and allow stable expansions by joining multiple units.
