The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf commercial duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, industrial, and commercial environments, offering various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any facility area. The open design provides four-side access for maximum flexibility, while the adjustable open shelves can be positioned at 1" increments. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. This add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams for the top and bottom shelves, single rivet beams for the center shelf, and a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The top and bottom shelves utilize double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The shelves are supported by sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard providing a solid but cost-effective decking solution. The unit allows for expansion with more stability and less construction effort compared to bolting two starter units together.
