Product Details
The PF4MN fan coil design is characterized by its contoured condensate pans with robust drain connections that minimize residual water at the end of the cooling cycle, thereby enhancing indoor air quality (IAQ) and extending product life. Standard features include grooved tubing, louvered fins, and updated coil circuiting optimized for Payne heat pumps and air conditioners. The units incorporate solid state fan controls, 1-inch (25mm) thick insulation with an R-value of 4.2, multi-speed motors, and fully-wettable coils, and they can accommodate factory- and/or field-installed heaters ranging from 3 to 30 kW. Utilizing high-efficiency multi-tap ECM (electronic commutation motor) technology, these fan coils deliver reliable air distribution with increased static pressure. The unit is housed in a pre-painted taupe metallic galvanized steel casing and includes a factory-supplied power plug for straightforward installation. It is shipped with an R-410A refrigerant TXV for sizes 1860. The design also features integrated motor controls with a 90-second off time delay relay (TDR) function, five available speed tags for diverse applications, durable drainable condensate pans, and cabinet construction innovations that prevent sweating, all while exceeding the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute's stringent testing requirements for condensate disposal. The cabinet meets strict air leakage regulations, achieving less than 2% leakage when tested at 0.5 inches W.C.
