Product Details
The design features contoured condensate pans with rugged drain connections, ensuring that little water is left in the unit at the end of the cooling duty cycle. The lack of standing condensate and corrosion-free pans improves indoor air quality (IAQ) and product life. Standard features include grooved tubing and louvered fins, while coil circuiting has been updated for optimal performance in all Payne heat pumps and air conditioners. Units are equipped with solid state fan controls, 1-inch (25mm) thick insulation with an R-value of 4.2, multi-speed motors, and fully-wettable coils. They can accommodate factory- and/or field-installed heaters ranging from 3 to 30 kW. The PF4MN fan coil design incorporates multi-tap electronic commutation motor (ECM) technology, offering reliable air delivery with increased static pressure. The unit comes in a pre-painted (taupe metallic) galvanized steel casing and includes a factory-supplied power plug for ease of installation. It is shipped with an R-410A refrigerant TXV (sizes 1860). Additional design features include integrated motor controls with a 90-second off time delay relay function, five available speed tags to address various applications, large grooved tube louvered fin coils, efficient and quiet blower housings and diffusers, drainable condensate pans, and innovative cabinet construction designed to prevent sweating. The cabinet is tested for condensate disposal in conditions exceeding the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute requirements and features super-thick R-4.2 insulation with a vapor barrier. The design meets stringent regulations for cabinet air leakage of less than 2% when tested at 0.5 inches W.C.
