Product Details
The PF4MN fan coil design features contoured condensate pans with rugged drain connections, ensuring minimal standing water remains after the cooling cycle, thus enhancing indoor air quality and extending product life. Standard components include grooved tubing and louvered fins, alongside updated coil circuiting optimized for all Payne heat pumps and air conditioners. This unit incorporates solid-state fan controls, 1-inch (25mm) thick insulation with an R-value of 4.2, multi-speed motors, and fully-wettable coils. It accommodates factory- and/or field-installed heaters ranging from 3 to 30 kW. Notably, the fan coils utilize advanced electronic commutation motor (ECM) technology via high-efficiency, multi-tap ECM motors, enabling reliable air delivery with increased static pressure. The pre-painted (taupe metallic) galvanized steel casing comes with a factory-supplied power plug for straightforward installation. Each unit is shipped with an R-410A refrigerant TXV (sizes 1860). Key features include integrated motor controls with a 90-second off TDR function, five available speed tags to cater to various applications, durable louvered fin coils, efficient blower housings, and diffusers. The cabinet is designed to prevent sweating and is tested for condensate disposal under conditions more rigorous than those stipulated by the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute, while adhering to stringent regulations for cabinet air leakage of less than 2% when tested at 0.5 inches W.C. Dimensions and specifications include super-thick R-4.2 insulation with a vapor barrier, ensuring enhanced performance.
