The Checkers™ Heavy-Duty MC3012 Wheel Chocks for ground vehicles are constructed from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), known for its durability and lightweight properties. These chocks feature a larger base, making them suitable for heavy equipment such as haul trucks, loaders, and cranes, and are specifically designed for mine haul trucks with tire sizes ranging from 95" to 142" (241.3 cm) in diameter, supporting gross vehicle operating weights up to 855,000 lbs. (725,748 kg). Key features include a maximum rated payload of 240 tons, resistance to oils, fuels, and solvents, and approval for use by Caterpillar and mines globally. Optional studs are available for enhanced traction on snow and ice, and the chocks come with a barcode imprinted on the back for tracking purposes. They adhere to ANSI compliant color guidelines for proper chocking and wheel placement in English, meet MSHA specifications, and include molded-in "how to use" guidelines. The chocks are safety yellow, feature a recessed carrying handle on the backside, replaceable rubber anti-slip traction pads, and a mounting hole for ropes, chains, or brackets.
