AC6820-LR-RP aviation wheel chocks are 20 inches long and specifically designed for large to oversized aircraft and aviation equipment. Manufactured from highly durable, lightweight polyurethane, these chocks offer a longer lifespan than wooden alternatives, eliminating the need for painting and reducing foreign object damage (FOD) threats to aircraft. The AC6800 series includes a rope lock system that allows for secure temporary attachment to the opposing wheel chock on the other side of the aircraft tire, making them ideal for business, commercial, cargo, and military aircraft. Key features include impact-absorbing lightweight urethane construction, weather and abrasion resistance, high load-bearing capacity, and resistance to aircraft fuels, oils, and lubricants. An optional anti-skid rubber pad is available for use on polished hangar floors. Unlike wooden chocks, these will not rot, crack, or splinter, and they can be equipped with an optional rope carrying handle. The chocks are molded in a high-visibility yellow color and are available with either a standard urethane base (AC6820-LR) or a rubber base (AC6820-LR-RP).
