Product Details
The fan coil design features contoured condensate pans with rugged drain connections to minimize water retention at the end of the cooling cycle, enhancing indoor air quality (IAQ) and extending product life. Standard attributes include grooved tubing and louvered fins, with updated coil circuiting optimizing the performance of all Payne heat pumps and air conditioners. The units are equipped with solid state fan controls, 1-inch (25mm) thick insulation with an R-value of 4.2, multi-speed motors, and fully-wettable coils. They can accommodate factory- and/or field-installed heaters ranging from 3 to 30 kW. The PF4MN fan coil employs advanced electronic commutation motor (ECM) technology, featuring high efficiency, multi-tap ECM motors for reliable air delivery and increased static pressure. The unit is housed in a pre-painted (taupe metallic) galvanized steel casing and includes a factory-supplied power plug for straightforward installation. It is shipped with an R-410A refrigerant TXV for sizes 1860. Additional features comprise integrated motor controls with a 90-second off time delay relay function and five available speed settings to suit various applications. The cabinet construction includes innovative designs that prevent sweating and meet stringent regulations for cabinet air leakage of less than 2% when tested at 0.5 inches W.C. Furthermore, the unit has been tested for condensate disposal under more rigorous conditions than those mandated by Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute requirements.
