The PF4MN fan coil design includes contoured condensate pans with rugged drain connections, minimizing standing water and enhancing indoor air quality and product longevity. Standard features comprise grooved tubing and louvered fins, alongside updated coil circuiting optimized for all Payne heat pumps and air conditioners. This unit incorporates solid-state fan controls, 1-inch (25mm) thick insulation with an R-value of 4.2, multi-speed motors, and fully-wettable coils. It supports factory- and/or field-installed heaters ranging from 3 to 30 kW. The design employs advanced electronic commutation motor (ECM) technology through high-efficiency, multi-tap ECM motors, ensuring reliable air delivery even under increased static pressure. Additionally, it features integrated motor controls with a 90-second off time delay relay function, five available speed options, and efficient, quiet blower housings and diffusers. Its sturdy drainable condensate pans and cabinet construction are designed to prevent sweating, while thorough testing ensures compliance with rigorous condensate disposal conditions. The unit arrives with a pre-painted taupe metallic galvanized steel casing and comes equipped with an R-410A refrigerant TXV for sizes 1860. The cabinet meets stringent regulations for air leakage, ensuring less than 2% leakage when tested at 0.5 inches W.C.
