All Brimstone bags and blankets are manufactured in ISO 9001:2015 registered facilities in the USA. The purchase includes one fire containment blanket (small) with dimensions of approximately 58" x 71" (almost 5' x 6') and a weight of approximately 12 lbs. The blanket features off white and bright yellow colors, and is equipped with 1-1/2" FR webbing handles knotted for easy gripping with gloved hands, distributed every 5' around the perimeter. The outer material has a melting point of 2450 (F)+, while the seam thread operates at temperatures up to 2000 (F). It has been tested with a 1MM BTU torch for 15 minutes at 1900 (F) / 1038 (C), with a maximum cold side temperature measured at 3" above the surface of 111 (F), and has undergone third-party testing at a flame side temperature of 1950 (F), where the hottest temperature measured at 1.5" above the cold side after 60 minutes was 213 (F). The outer layer is resistant to most chemical reagents and corrosive agents, and the package includes a 14" x 4" vinyl peel-and-stick placard stating "PED fire containment blanket located here." This item's representative materials conform to the requirements of burn test FAA 14 CFR 25, appendix F. Warranty information is also included.
