All Brimstone bags and blankets are manufactured in ISO 9001:2015 registered facilities and are proudly sewn in the USA. The kit includes one fire containment blanket (small) with dimensions of approximately 116" x 116" and weighing about 37 lbs. The blanket features off-white and bright yellow colors, 1-1/2" FR webbing handles every 5' around the perimeter, which are knotted for easy gripping with gloved hands. The outer material has a melting point of 2450°F+ and the seam thread operates at a temperature of 2000°F. It has been tested with a 1MM BTU torch for 15 minutes at 1900°F (1038°C), with a maximum cold side temperature of 111°F measured 3" above the surface. Additionally, third-party testing indicates that at 1950°F flame side, after 60 minutes, the hottest temperature measured at 1.5" above the cold side was 213°F. The outer layer is resistant to most chemical reagents and corrosive agents. The package also includes a 14" x 4" vinyl peel and stick placard stating "PED fire containment blanket located here." This item's representative materials conform to the requirements of the burn test FAA 14 CFR 25, Appendix F. Warranty information is available upon request.
