The EV Fire Suppressor Blanket kit includes one standard-size fire suppressor blanket, measuring approximately 20' x 25' and weighing about 57 lbs, along with a carrying case that measures approximately 30" x 13" x 7". Optional poles, sold separately, are available with a retracted height of approximately 30" and an extended height of 53" (each weighing 2.5 lbs). The blanket is constructed from ultra-lightweight, single-layer materials featuring a special lab-formulated coating on both sides, with a melting point of over 2050°F and a softening point between 1350°F and 1600°F. It boasts extreme heat resistance, reinforced threaded seams, and is resistant to most chemical reagents and corrosive agents. For enhanced visibility and secure deployment, the blanket includes a unique reflective double strap handle system, reflective tape centerlines, and strategically placed harness loops around its perimeter. The quick roll-out deployment strap system is designed to double as a whole vehicle wrap-around cinch, with a length of 45' for securing the blanket tight around the vehicle base. The carrying bag is made of water-resistant material and features two-person carry straps and a padded shoulder strap (single-person carry is not recommended), along with a reinforced red "drag & go" pad for quick access. Additionally, the bag provides a simple "center on threat" arrow for deployment guidance and includes a step-by-step instruction card on the outside. Note that the EV Fire Suppressor extendable poles are sold separately but are highly recommended for use on taller vehicles and to keep responders farther away from the threat.
