The Squids® 3791 locking collar with tool attachment point is designed for retrofitting onto connecting, sleever, and wrecking bars to create a secure attachment point for tethering tools weighing up to 7 lbs / 3.2 kg, thereby preventing dropped or falling objects on the job. The installation process is straightforward; users simply slide the locking collar onto the bar and use the included hex key to tighten the dual set screws for a secure fit. Constructed from strong galvanized steel, this corrosion-resistant locking collar is suitable for extreme environments and allows for safe holstering by providing a catchpoint for tool belts. The collar includes a swiveling connection point to prevent tangles when used with a lanyard, and it can be removed if only the tool collar is needed for holstering. This tether attachment has been tested for safety and meets the ANSI/ISEA 121-2018 standard, ensuring it can withstand the defined weight limits.
