The Ultra-Grate Guard®, Sediment Model, is designed to catch sediment, oil, silt, debris, and other runoff before they enter waterways. Measuring 28" x 28", each unit features a high flow design with overflow ports and is ideal for use with flat grate catch basins. It has an easy-to-install design that slides onto the storm drain's grate and is secured with heavy-duty hook and loop fasteners. Once installed, sediment, dirt, silt, and other pollutants can be easily removed using a broom, flat shovel, or similar tool, eliminating the need to remove the grating and keeping everything at street level. This is particularly valuable on construction sites and in areas with large amounts of pollutants. Made from high flow woven material, this grate guard ensures effective sediment and pollution control without sacrificing functionality for aesthetics.
