The Ultra-Grate Guard®, sediment only model, with curb deflector, measures 18" x 36" and is designed to catch sediment, oil, silt, debris, and other runoff before they enter waterways. This high-flow model features no overflows and is designed for use under flat grate catch basins. The Ultra-Grate Guard® slides onto the storm drain's grate and is secured with heavy-duty hook and loop fasteners, allowing for easy installation. Pollutants such as sediment, dirt, and silt can be removed effortlessly using a broom, flat shovel, or similar tool, with no need to remove the grating, as everything remains at street level. This design is particularly beneficial for construction sites and areas characterized by large amounts of pollutants. The material used is high flow woven, ensuring effective sediment and pollution control while prioritizing functionality over aesthetics.
