The Ultra-Grate Guard®, sediment only model, with curb deflector, measures 24" x 40" and is designed to catch sediment, oil, silt, debris, and other runoff before they enter waterways. This high-flow model features no overflows and is specifically engineered for use with flat grate catch basins. The product installs easily by sliding onto the storm drain's grate and is secured with heavy-duty hook and loop fasteners, ensuring a secure fit. Once installed, sediment, dirt, silt, and other pollutants can be easily removed with a broom, flat shovel, or similar tool, without the need to remove the grating, keeping everything at street level. The material is high flow woven, providing effective sediment and pollution control, making this grate guard ideal for high-pollution areas such as construction sites.
