The Ultra-Grate Guard®, Sediment Only Model, is designed to catch sediment, oil, silt, debris, and other runoff before they enter waterways. Measuring 18" x 36", this high-flow model features no overflows. It slides onto the storm drain's grate and is secured with heavy-duty hook and loop fasteners, making installation easy. Once in place, sediment, dirt, silt, and other pollutants can be easily removed with a broom, flat shovel, or similar tool, eliminating the need to remove the grating, thus keeping everything at street level. This design is particularly beneficial for construction sites and other areas with large amounts of pollutants. The grate guard is constructed from high flow woven material, ensuring effective sediment and pollution control without sacrificing functionality for aesthetics, making it perfect for high-pollution areas.
