The Ultra-Grate Guard®, Sediment Only Model, is engineered to capture sediment, oil, silt, debris, and other runoff before they enter waterways, measuring 18" x 48". This high-flow model features no overflows and is designed specifically for installation under the catch basin's grating, prioritizing functionality over aesthetic appeal. The Ultra-Grate Guard® easily slides onto the storm drain's grate and is secured with heavy-duty hook and loop fasteners to maintain a tight closure. Once installed, pollutants such as sediment, dirt, and silt can be readily removed using a broom, flat shovel, or similar tool, eliminating the need to remove the grating and keeping maintenance at street level. This innovative solution is particularly beneficial for construction sites and other areas experiencing significant pollutant accumulation.
