The Ultra-Grate Guard®, sediment only model, is specifically designed to catch sediment, oil, silt, debris, and other runoff before they enter waterways, making it ideal for high-pollution areas such as construction sites. It measures 24" x 48" and features a high-flow design with no overflows. The installation is straightforward, as the guard slides onto the storm drain's grate and is secured with heavy-duty hook and loop fasteners, ensuring a tight fit. Once installed, sediment, dirt, silt, and other pollutants can be easily removed using a broom, flat shovel, or similar tool without the need to remove the grating, keeping the entire process at street level. The Ultra-Grate Guard® is specifically designed for use with flat grate catch basins and is made from high flow woven material, providing efficient sediment and pollution control while prioritizing functionality.
