The Drive Xchange System™ sockets are designed to prevent power loss from worn sockets and square drive anvils, providing easier access into tight spaces with a tool length that is up to 3/4" shorter when used with Ingersoll Rand® DXS® impact wrenches. These DXS® direct drive sockets fit tighter and feature a greater load-bearing surface compared to traditional square drives, delivering up to 15% better torque transfer and a 20% longer wear life. Key features include a ball nose retention pin for quick, tool-free installation and removal, high visibility laser etched markings for easy size identification, and relieved 6 point hex corners to help reduce fastener rounding. The kit includes 14 sockets (7/16", 1/2", 9/16", 5/8", 11/16", 3/4", 13/16", 7/8", 15/16", 1", 1-1/16", 1-1/8", 1-3/16", 1-1/4") and an EVA foam shadow board organizer for storage. These sockets are made from chrome molybdenum (Cr-Mo) alloy steel, featuring a manganese phosphate finish that resists corrosion, and they meet or exceed ASME B107.110 specifications. A square retention pin conversion kit is available for a secure connection, and the entire set is backed by a lifetime limited warranty for reliability and peace of mind.
