The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments for flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint and prevent beam rotation, back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access, and easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and the shelves are equipped with smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking shipped in two pieces for cost-effective solid support.
