The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces and features durable, adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically by 1" increments. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the shelving, and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard provides a cost-effective solid decking, which ships in two pieces.
