The SC Preferred 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with no decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable construction suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the unit offers four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T-posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Decking is ordered separately. The shelving system complies with relevant industrial standards and includes a warranty as specified by the manufacturer.
