The SC Preferred 2 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Add On with Laminate Deck measures 60"W x 24"D x 36"H and includes a laminate deck designed to maximize storage space. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level and features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner post, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable at 1" increments vertically, with open shelves adjustable in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean 1/2" thick melamine surface decking with pre-cut square edging are designed to withstand commercial, industrial, and retail environments. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Particle board decking ships in two pieces. Various sizes are available to accommodate nearly every facility area, enabling simple expansion by joining units with enhanced stability and reduced construction compared to bolting two starter units together.
