The SC Preferred™ 2 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable construction suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for flexibility, and the kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, as well as double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking is chip resistant with a gray baked enamel finish. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, enabling expansion with less construction compared to bolting two starter units together.
