The SC Preferred 5-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial settings, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths. It features open shelves adjustable at 1" increments with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. The shelving offers four-side access for maximum flexibility and is constructed with sturdy roll-formed 14 gauge steel framing, including rugged 2" x 1-1/2" uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts via double rivet button stud construction, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The package includes smooth, precut 5/8" thick chip-resistant particleboard wood decking finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
