The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage space with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner posts, preventing back and side sway. The open design allows four-sided access, providing maximum flexibility, and the sturdy roll-formed steel framing supports the load with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and the shelving comes with sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces. Assembly is easy, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, as all components snap in place.
