The SC Preferred 5 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, allowing for flexible configuration, and the open design permits four-sided access. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction secures perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, as well as double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The finish is chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and the wood decking consists of sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard, which ships in two pieces. The kit includes five shelves and wood decking suitable for varied heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly any facility layout.
