The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, with open shelves that are adjustable in 1" increments. The construction features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation, and double rivet button stud joints that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint to eliminate back and side sway. The stable design requires no bolts, nuts, or clips for assembly, allowing easy setup with snap-in components. The open design provides four-side access for maximum flexibility and easier expansion by joining units for more stability without bolting two starter units together. The package includes sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking which ships in two pieces and is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating.
