The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf, heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments, and sturdy precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking, which ships in two pieces. The shelving is easy to assemble with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beams from rotating when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner post to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The frame is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating.
