The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for adaptable storage configurations. The shelving system features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams, which lock into the corner posts with double rivet button stud construction to form a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The kit includes snap-in components for easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips required. The shelving has a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and includes a sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking shipped in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid platform.
