The SC Preferred 3-shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments, and easy assembly requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving unit offers various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every facility area, with an open design allowing four side access for maximum flexibility. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and a sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces.
