The SC Preferred 5 shelf standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The shelving supports a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs per level and features open shelves adjustable at 1-inch increments. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components that facilitate quick setup and expansion with more stability than bolting starter units together. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full loads. A double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1-inch centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable in 1-inch vertical increments. The shelving is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. Wood decking is made of sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8-inch thick particleboard, shipped in two pieces for cost-effective solid support.
