The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, commercial, and industrial settings, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The shelving features durable, adaptable open shelves adjustable at 1" increments for easy customization and include rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers along with double riveted horizontal beams for vertical adjustment. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load and double rivet button stud construction locking perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, eliminating sway. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is simple with snap-in components that require no bolts, nuts, or clips, making expansion easy by joining units with greater stability and less construction compared to bolting starter units together. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and includes smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces to provide a cost-effective solid surface.
